Q:What does it cost to play ClashGrid?
ClashGrid offers multiple wager tiers: 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, and 600 SOL. Winners receive 195% of their wager (95% net profit after 5% platform fee). You can also play for free in Practice Mode.
Q:Can I play ClashGrid for free?
Yes! ClashGrid offers a Free Play mode where you can practice against AI opponents without connecting a wallet or wagering any SOL. It's perfect for learning game mechanics and strategies before playing with real stakes.
Q:How do I withdraw my winnings?
Winnings are automatically sent to your connected Solana wallet immediately after a match concludes. There's no withdrawal process needed - the smart contract handles payouts automatically on-chain.
Q:Is ClashGrid provably fair?
Yes! ClashGrid is fully on-chain on Solana blockchain. All game logic, random number generation (using blockchain hashes), and payouts are verifiable on the blockchain. Visit our Transparency page to verify any match.
Q:What are elemental advantages in ClashGrid?
ClashGrid uses a rock-paper-scissors style elemental system: Fire beats Air, Air beats Earth, Earth beats Water, and Water beats Fire. Units attacking with elemental advantage deal 50% more damage.
Q:How does the wagering system work?
Both players wager an equal amount of SOL. The winner receives 195% of their wager (original stake + 95% of opponent's stake). The 5% platform fee funds development and the airdrop rewards pool.
Q:What happens if my opponent disconnects?
If your opponent disconnects or times out, you win the match by default. The smart contract enforces time limits and automatically resolves abandoned matches in favor of the active player.
Q:How are airdrop points calculated?
Airdrop points are earned based on wagered games (10 points per 0.1 SOL wagered) and free games (1 point per game). Winners get 2x points. Game creators get bonus multipliers. Points determine your share of weekly token airdrops.
Q:What wallets are supported?
ClashGrid supports all major Solana wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Glow, and any wallet that supports the Solana Wallet Adapter standard.
Q:How do I create a private match?
When creating a match, you'll receive a unique match code. Share this code only with your intended opponent. They can use the 'Join Match' feature and enter the code to join your private game.
Q:What is the unit placement phase?
Before battle begins, you secretly arrange your 8 units on a 4x2 grid. Your opponent does the same. Neither player sees the other's formation until battle starts. Strategic placement is key to victory.
